Dr. Emil John
Armand Cappetta

A native of Summit, New Jersey, Dr. Cappetta began his academic journey at the University of Pennsylvania before earning his dental degree from the prestigious Columbia University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his advanced specialty training through a rigorous circuit at Bellevue Hospital, the Manhattan VA Hospital, and NYU Langone, where he was ultimately appointed Chief Resident of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery service.

Dr. Cappetta’s extensive surgical background spans the full scope of maxillofacial care, including complex trauma and reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, and facial cosmetics, as well as dental implant and dentoalveolar procedures. A Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, he is an expert in providing safe general and twilight anesthesia for both adults and children. Dr. Cappetta currently serves as an Attending Surgeon at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Hospital, where he remains dedicated to advancing the standard of surgical excellence in his specialty.

Outside of the operating room, Dr. Cappetta is deeply rooted in his local community. You can often find him trying out the area's new restaurants, relaxing at the piano, or at the park with his delightfully stout English Bulldog, Hoagie.
